About FICPI Sweden

FICPI Sweden is the Swedish national association of FICPI, which is an international organization with members from more than 80 countries. FICPI represents patent and trademark attorneys in private practice and handles issues related to their work, both the practical day-to-day work and legislative issues worldwide.

Through a membership in FICPI Sweden, which is a precondition for membership in FICPI, you will get a global network. You will also have the opportunity to gain an insight into and participate in the development of intellectual property throughout the world.

FICPI Sweden regularly arranges seminars in Sweden, focusing on current issues and trends in the international IP work. Lecturers are often FICPI members from different parts of the world. The seminars are open for everyone, although members of FICPI Sweden participate at a reduced cost.

The Copyright Office of Vietnam

On February 20th, 1987, Copyright Protection Agency, the predecessor of the Copyright Office of Vietnam (COV), was established. The establishment of Copyright Protection Agency in the early of the country renovation process has shown the role of intellectual property rights in Vietnam's economic - cultural -social construction and development. It is the best choice towards reaching human civilization. Under the management of the Government, the policy on the field of intellectual property, as well as achievements we had, is always accompanied by the Copyright Office of Vietnam.

APAA - The Asian Patent Attorneys Association

The Asian Patent Attorneys Association ("APAA") is a non-governmental organisation dedicated to promoting and enhancing intellectual property protection in the Asian region (including Australia and New Zealand).

Established in December 1969, membership of APAA is open to individuals practising the profession of patent attorney in the Asian region as well as organisations which comprise such individuals and are constituted in the Asian region. The association now has about 2,315 members from 17 Recognised Groups in Australia, Bangladesh, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Macau, Malaysia, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam as well as from Bhutan, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Mongolia, Myanmar and Nepal.

Vietnam Intellectual Property Research Institute

The Vietnam Intellectual Property Research Institute (VIPRI) is a Vietnam governmental institute for multi-disciplinary research, training and expertise in the field of the law, economics, technique and management of intellectual property.

VIPRI was established in 2007 by the Minister of Science and Technology. VIPRI's activities are funded by state budget and other resources from national and international organizations and individuals. VIPRI has a core of employed staffs with experienced expertise in collaboration with numerous experts and practitioners in the field of intellectual property.
