Le Trung Huu is an associate with KENFOX IP & Law Office, a licensed IP agent in Vietnam.

Huu works closely with domestic and international clients to assist in patent drafting, patent prosecution, opposition and appeal proceedings, strategic patent counseling, preparation of patent-related opinions, due diligence, negotiating and preparing licensing agreements and intellectual property assignments. Huu is a bioengineer by training, but through his graduate-level research experience and prior work experience, he is knowledgeable in diverse technology areas, including software, consumer electronics, electrical circuits, optics, fluid mechanics, mechanical engineering, life sciences, medical devices and pharmaceutical-related arts.

Prior to joining KENFOX, Huu worked as a patent attorney at a boutique intellectual property law firm in Hanoi. He primarily handled patent prosecution matters for Fortune 500 companies

• Prepared and prosecuted Vietnam and foreign patent applications in a wide variety of mechanical and electromechanical devices.
• Developed intellectual property portfolios that have provided significant value to clients. Counseled clients of all sizes from independent inventors and small start-ups to large corporations.
• Worked with clients of all sizes and took a special interest in protecting the intellectual property portfolios of clients as they grow.
• Conducted product clearance and prior art studies to assist clients in product planning and provides clearance opinions when necessary.
• Provided guidance to clients in designing around other parties’ patents.
