How to Identify Genuine Fischer Injection Mortars

Fischer representatives recommend that users carefully check the packaging, cartridge structure, and mixing mechanism to distinguish genuine chemical anchor adhesives from counterfeit products appearing on the market.

Fischer is a trademark owned by fischerwerke GmbH & Co. KG, a company headquartered in Germany and operating in the field of anchoring solutions, installation systems, and engineering materials used in construction and industry.

According to the brand representative, chemical anchor adhesives are products that require strict technical standards because they directly affect the bonding capability and load-bearing capacity of anchoring systems in construction works. Therefore, the use of counterfeit products or products of unknown origin may lead to a reduction in load-bearing performance, affecting the safety and lifespan of the structure. Users can distinguish genuine products from counterfeit products through several characteristics of the packaging and cartridge

Cap Design. For genuine Fischer products, the cap has a cone-shaped top, and the shoulder slopes downward toward the cartridge body. The cartridge neck features a distinctive embossed mark. Meanwhile, counterfeit products often have a flatter cap top, with a more horizontal shoulder and less slope toward the cartridge body.

Label Material. Genuine Fischer chemical anchor adhesives use matte paper labels with a non-glossy surface. In contrast, many counterfeit products use glossy plastic labels, which can create a noticeably different appearance when viewed directly.

Packaging Color. According to the company’s warning, genuine products generally use a light sky-blue color tone. Meanwhile, counterfeit products found on the market may appear in different color variations, such as light cream, dark blue, or old packaging designs using light blue colors.

Cartridge Bottom Shape. In genuine products, the edges at the bottom of the cartridge are straight, uniform, and thin. In contrast, counterfeit products often have a thicker and more bulging bottom edge.

Mixing Mechanism. This is one of the easiest details to distinguish. Genuine Fischer products use a mixing mechanism with concentric circular rings combined with supporting radial points. In contrast, many counterfeit products use a simpler radial pattern.

The Fischer representative stated that, recently, FIS EB II chemical anchor adhesive products showing signs of trademark counterfeiting have appeared on the market, posing various risks related to product quality and technical safety.

To minimize risks, customers, distributors, contractors, and construction companies should only purchase products from legitimate sources or authorized distributors. In addition, users should carefully check the packaging, product labels, production batch numbers, and accompanying technical documents before use. Products sold at unusually low prices or with unclear origins should be approached with caution.
